Cover up via pcb via that is creating a short?
(1/1)
Jackster:
I have a tiny via on my PCB that is creating a short between a LED pad and ground.
(the via and pad are too close to each other so the larger LED part is shorting)

What is the best way to cover this via?

Presuming solder mask? Any cheaper way, as a bottle of this is like £15...
Conformal coating? Can get it in a pen for £5

Thanks
Jack
Mr.B:
Is Capton tape an option?

Ohh that could work, and would resist the heat from soldering.

Ill give that a go tomorrow!
