I've tried cross referencing this non and can't find a replacement. Any help? Or suggestions?
Thanks

You left out the all important information about what package it is or what it looks like.
I guess it's a 2SD2059 NPN transistor? TO220F?

Hope this helps. I'm a newbie at electronics so I'm assuming it's an NPN transistor. It fails the test procedure I viewed on the YouTube videos.

All 2sa , 2sb transistors are PNP and all 2sC , 2sD series are NPN
2sC are generally lower power higher frequency while 2sD series are the slower work horses for power applications

Thank you,
How do I find a replacement for this transistor since it's no longer available?

Easy enough:
https://www.google.com/search?q=2sd2059+substitute&oq=2sd2059+substitute (https://www.google.com/search?q=2sd2059+substitute&oq=2sd2059+substitute)

I found that substitute, but it says no longer available. It seems no one carries a substitute.

Looking at the datasheet for the 2SD2059, it's a general purpose NPN power transistor in a TO220F case.
Looking at the NTE website an NTE-54 is their suggested match.

I found several sellers of 2SD2059 on eBay.
