Datasheet Confusion
« on: January 01, 2012, 01:07:51 pm »
Hi All,

After a little help.  I'm looking at the datasheet for a trim resistor and am trying to make an eagle part for it.  The lead diameter is marked down as 3-0.5+-0.1mm, with an overall tolerance for the entire diagram of +-0.3mm.  I'm slightly confused by the notation here with the 3-0.5 bit.

Anybody able to shed some light on exactly what it means?

Thanks,
Tim

Sounds like it's saying "0.5mm, in 3 places". I'm guessing it's referring to the diameter of the legs.

Gah!  Should have been obvious it meant 3 off 0.5mm really.  Thanks.
