I'm having a problem with my Datron 4000A.
On High Voltage output anytime I try to go past 199 volts I get a Fail 5. OOPS
Now I get to 100 V and I get Fail 5.
When I run self test result is PASS.
Any thoughts?
I don't think I kept good notes when I worked on these Datron 4000s back in 2017.
Seems my original thought that it was a relay problem was correct?
After trying different methods of getting to 500-600 volts both positive and negative.
I found that after sneaking up to that number without turning off the output, the relays were worked and it allowed me to continue without a FAIL.
Several attempts at this and so far I can go to the higher voltages without a FAIL 5.
It has been sitting for three four years now.
