| DC-DC converter module - High quality? |
| (1/1) |
| Tantalum:
Hello I needed a DC-DC low ripple 3-5A converter module, but with quality components (caps, inductors,...). Where could I find some with decent quality? ebay/aliexpress is crowded with Chinese modules but I don't trust the specs announced. |

Vicor is a good brand, very compact also -- but you'll pay for it. I forget if they make anything that small actually. There are plenty of other major brands, in any case. I don't know offhand any that are specifically low ripple. You are expected to add filtering yourself, as need. (Many don't even have the required bypass capacitors onboard!) Tim |

There are many in Digikey . I am sure you can find many that suits your application. You can get them in very easy to use DIP packages too. |

Check out tdk-lambda , I regard them as the rolls Royce of dc dc converters |
