Question on Oscilloscopes
« on: January 11, 2015, 08:39:12 am »
Dear EEVBlog community

Would just like to ask a question on whether the Hameg Analogue Oscilloscopes are a good brand. My University is giving me some as they are going to throw it away or donate it. They are willing to give me one. I will take it no matter what the answer is. So Are Hameg a good brand of Oscilloscopes? I do not know the specs sorry!

Will I be able to learn and teach myself how to use one with the older analogue oscilloscopes? Apparently they are harder to use.

PS: Are they worth any profit?

Thank you.

Hameg is a well reknown brand, by all means grab one.  :-+
Check out the Oscilloscope training thread in the Beginners board.
When you know just what you have, manuals should be available from one of the links in the Repair board.
