Agilent E3611A Problem or Not?

I recently came across a brand new E3611A power supply (was a gift) and have noticed that the front panel display meters are "off" by as much as 0.14v   is this within spec of this unit?  or should I contact Agilent about this?

The unit is brand new in a never opened box, but the cal date on the certificate that came with it says it was calibrated in June 2011, so it must have sat in a warehouse for over a year.  I have the reciept for it and it was bought new from an "authorized" Agilent dealer.

My only prior experience with power supplies (a Mastech HY3005F-3 and a BK Precision 1627A) they were both spot on.

If the E3611A is like the E3610A, it's very easy to make this adjustment yourself. You need to find an on-line copy of the service manual and follow the steps to align the voltmeter in your supply with your reference. The service manual will also tell you if the discrepancy you see is within spec or not. It's pretty close, I think.

looks in spec to me.
the meters in these machines are 3 digits only. such meters are typically +/- 1lsb.

so 1.5 could be 1.6 or 1.4. The convertor simply has no more resolution than that and it is allowed to be off 1 lsb.
0.395 will show as 0.3 as the convertor does not 'see' the 0.095 . It's as simple as that.

Looks "normal" to me.  The E36XX that I have are about the same with the meter.

Hey, that's why you have a nice multimeter, so you can measure your power supply voltage!
