DL187T leads/probes
« on: March 02, 2019, 04:13:07 am »
I have a seemingly rare noname multimeter with the model number DL187T that apparently still works perfectly great and it's owner misses it, but unfortunately it's leads/probes were broken. I don't have enough experience with old meters to know which name brand leads should be compatible. I hope someone on here can point me to a pair of leads that should work, if not I have a some digital calipers to take measurements with.

Cheers, thanks for atleast reading!

That meter has some crazy large inner shrouds on the banana jacks, so standard shrouded leads won't fit.  You'll have to use leads with unshrouded 4mm banana plugs, or cut the shrouds off of some leads, or a nice safe solution would be to have leads with "retractable" shrouds like these Probemaster Softies (8018S option).
