| does my power converter have the correct voltages? |

my game console voltage: 100v, 47w, 50/60hz my brand new power converter: AC 220v, 50w MAX, 50hz the converter is for 100v game console to be used in local 220v socket here. i used to have an old one but i threw that one away and bought this new one. i bought the correct power converter right? |

If you think the triac choppers are a POS, it can be worse. I've seen them simply use a rectifier. :o |

Why do they call it a "power" converter? it converts the voltage, not the power. The PlayStation is labelled NTSC which is the old American type of TV signals. It might not work with a modern American 4k TV nor European or Down Under TV. |
