Title: Eakins Microscopes - Why are there different style housings for a sensor?

I've been looking for a decent digital microscope and the experience has been a minefield of potential missteps. One thing I haven't been able to figure out is why there are different housings/listings for what appears to be the same product.

Both of these appear to have the exact same specs and lens options with the main difference being the housings.

Is there a logical reason for this outside of the perception of variety?

One has the connectors coming out of the top, one on the side. Either may work better depending on your setup.
Also looks like first one doesn't have IR remote input.
They are both c-mount thread.

That's the camera I have on my trinacular micoscope. Kind of funny you guys adding a lenz and calling it a microscope.  :palm:

1080p @60fps USB2.0
I've tried soldering looking at monitor, it's doable.

But I'd be looking for 120fps if I wanted a microscope like that.
