Electronic on/off touch sensors
« on: August 08, 2017, 02:21:24 am »
So a while back  I scavenged a pair of Quantum 205.2X170mm date: 03-02-2001, 0171-1741-0330. Touch sensor PCB with lights from an old Apple/ IMAC monitor. I think would be cool to re-use these, but I can't find any info on these. I also think if I wanted something like this I could get something fairly cheap, maybe even that is just a sensor, transistor with on/off that can then drive a relay, or work with an Arduino, etc. Trying to see if these apple boards are worth keeping or if they would be more a pain. Also curios what is out there for simple touch sensors that could trip a relay, etc.
