This one for me was extremely helpful:
https://www.belinskis.net/

It's a course + development kit combo, where you build projects along with the videos. Very practical, starts from literally "what is electricity" and ends at "you can design a PCB for this automation device". For me, as a beginner, it was amazing!

The included kit is a very cheap chinese uno that cost a few dollars. It's mainly $400 of what otherwise you can get elsewhere free. For the same money you could own quality books, a proper dev kit and work on tools to get started. Or you can go the free route and buy a decent starter scope.

Hello. I'm looking for help in setting up the correct parameters to connect voltage leads to channel 1 and a Hantek CC-650 amperage clamp to channel 2 using an OWON HDS2202S Handheld oscilloscope to perform a 12 volt alternator ripple test. I did a trial run after a lot of reading but the sine wave was very erratic and I was unable to discern voltage above and below the mean as there were no voltage numbers along the Y-axis lines. Any help or direction would be appreciated. I have a good knowledge of electrical systems and some electronics.

regards,

Donald
