Eprom 27c256 D0-D7 data waveform

looking with scope at the data D0-7 i get this shape ..thats a valid data , garbage , freerunning , Z-state ?

Check where you attached the probe's ground clip... this looks a lot like you don't have a good signal reference.

Also, make sure probe is on 10x setting, and scope is >= 20MHz.

... and that the x10 probe's compensation adjustment is set up correctly for the flattest possible tops/bottoms on the scope's test signal with no visible over/undershoot on the edges
