Multisim oscilloscope output
« on: April 07, 2015, 10:18:25 am »
Hi,

First time on the EEV Blog forum but have been on the youtube channel for awhile now.  I am trying to use multisim to test the wave form of a fixed voltage regulator with different caps but every time I run it the out put is always a smooth 9v output even when I have no caps on it.  Is this normal on multisim or have I not built the circuit correctly I have included a picture of my setup and output.  Hope you can help.

Thanks  Alex

There's no load. Try a 9 ohm resistor at the output.
