Piezoelectric and ribbon tweeters are often capable of significantly exceeding 20kHz - I don't think your ears can though! As oPossum says, ultrasonic transducers are available that run at 40kHz and, I think, some maybe 32kHz but these are very narrow band tuned and not suitable for any other purpose (apart from bat detectors). |

They can be had for < $5.00 on Amazon. |
