Exporting data from Siglent SVA1032X
« on: June 23, 2021, 08:10:23 pm »
I've just taken delivery of a Siglent SVA1032X VNA.  Can anyone tell me if it's possible to export measurement data for use by other software programs.  I've been through the manual and haven't been able to find anything on it.  It's entirely possible I just missed it as this is my first "real" VNA and I'm still getting used to it.

Thanks.

Yes, you can export with save, after inserting an USB stick.
Default format is a .png dump of the screen, but you can select different formats with "File" key. Most useful is csv.
For VNAs, touchstone format would be useful (.s1p, .s2p), but it's missing by now and you have to use csv

You can also bypass using a USB stick altogether with use of the SVA's webserver however you need select the filetype needed rather than the default PNG.
You can do this from within the webserver UI (System>File) or from the instrument front panel (File).

Setting the SVA/SSA Plus for webserver duties is very simple using System>Interface>LAN and let DCHP find a IP and use Apply to save it. Enter that IP into a PC browser for connection and control of SVA/SSA Plus.
