Title: Feet
Post by: fabiodl on March 07, 2021, 03:46:11 am
Do you put feet on your boards / enclosures?
What do you use?

I like the idea used in the DE10-nano (see attached picture) but I never found these kind of silicone feet for sale.
I also like these  screw on feet  (https://www.essentracomponents.com/en-us/p/screw-on-bumper-rubber-feet-threaded-stud/tb-3) but they are pretty expensive.
I saw people hand making them with  motorsil  (https://bit.ly/3kZQLz6 (https://bit.ly/3kZQLz6))but I'd like to know what solutions / sources you use.

Threaded spacers are cheap, or they at least used to be.

But those rubbery caps are not easy to find.

It may possible to use nylon threaded spacers, but the rubbery ones are nice, since they don't slide.

Sticky rubber feet are another option.

Adhesive silicone rubber feet, in black or clear. They're cheap, low profile, and super grippy.
