Filters for AD9833 Programmable Waveform Generator
« on: October 11, 2012, 03:54:59 am »
From what I've read, it seems that it's somewhat common to insert a low pass filter with a corner frequency of 30-40% of the DDS clock frequency for waveform generators to simplify the output. Is this true? I've been reading about different types of butterworth, chebyshev, bessel, and passband filters, and thinking about how I'd apply them to higher frequencies in the ham radio and 0-50Mhz band. Any hints/books/suggestions?
