| Finding Equivalent P-Ch |
| (1/1) |
| SG-1:
How does one go about finding the evil twin, I mean the P-Channel equivalent of this NTE457 (JFET). I have looked at the NTE456 & NTE458, both are N-Ch. |
| T3sl4co1l:
Easy! There's about half a dozen P-ch JFETs still in production; just sort through their datasheets and pick the closest one. Don't get your hopes up... ...Oh actually it's more like three, which in typical JFET fashion, come in three-ish flavors each (neighboring part numbers, sorted by Idss bins), and second-sourced by a couple manufacturers each. https://www.digikey.com/short/p7t4h0 Tim |
| David Hess:
Calogic has some p-channel JFETs also if you can figure out where to buy them. The selection of p-channel JFETs is so small that checking them all will not be difficult. |
| Jwillis:
Think these P-channels are pretty close https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/J174_175_176_177_CNV.pdf |
