Through Hole to SMD components
« on: August 04, 2017, 07:51:03 pm »
Hi All,

i am searching for a few SMD components and cannot seem to find the 0.1uf 400v (https://www.digikey.com/product-detail/en/nichicon/QXK2G104KTPTZH/493-3574-ND/2118520) in an SMD form. Are these in through hole size only ?

Through hole is more common for higher voltage components because the creapage distances are normally greater.

Here's an alternative in SMT format, but the AC voltage rating is only 160V, even though the DC rating is the same at 400V.

Here's one rated to 200VAC but RS don't have any in stock and Digikey don't stock them at all.
