Hi all
I recently made a led panel from led strips to go over my work bench, all works well most of the time but occasionally they start to flash, I wired them in series and the power supply is ample for the strips,
Help required please, as I need the extra light to work from.

The flashing is typical of a supply that isn't quite up to it. Your problem would be much easier to diagnose if you said:
* what the LEDs are
* what the PSU is
* how fast the flashing is (once a minute? second? 5 times a second?)

It could be a loose connection, or the bond wire inside the LED failing.

Hi BazzaKeen,
have you checked the voltages (Mains, V-Led, V-PSU)?
Have you tried shorting out some LEDs (since series-connected)?

It sounds like there are loose wires or solder joints. If not, try rewiring the LED strips in parallel rather than in series. There's a tutorial on their website (https://www.standforca.com/) I believe.

It can be either a loose connection or excessive heat. Have you used any heat sink in your LED panel?LED strips can overheat if they are not adequately cooled. Overheating can lead to flickering. Also, make sure that all components are properly grounded. And just in case, if you ever consider redesigning your panel, you can take a look here.
