FLUKE 175 / FLUKE 179 Battery Connector
« on: August 03, 2022, 08:23:16 pm »
Hi All, first post and question.

I have a Fluke 175 and 179 with broken battery connectors, I need to know the correct spec for JST 2.0 because this is a little different, botton side to connect on PCB is flat and the sides have a cavity

I didn't find a mounted part for this . Any suggestions?
Anyone can test if a model of JST 2.0 correctly fix?

Sorry for bad brazilian english :)

None of the JST 2.0mm connectors I could find will fit. Might be another manufacturer.

You might try via the fluke part numbers (the following is from the calibration manual):

Battery Connector, serial number 8391100 and below, and 83911241 to 84060000 : Part number 825976
Battery Connector, serial numbers 8391101 to 83911240 and 84060001 and above: Part number 1988201

First of all, just to be clear, there’s no such thing as a “JST 2.0mm” connector, because JST has many connector series with 2mm pitch.

Anyway, it looks to me like the Molex Micro-Latch series: https://www.molex.com/molex/products/family/microlatch
