Center-tapped Transformer Help
« on: April 14, 2022, 12:56:10 pm »
Hello everyone! I am currently researching camera flash circuit designs and would like to build my own custom one. However, I am unable to find a source that details how to calculate the output voltage for the 22nF capacitor.

You need to rephrase your question.  I don't understand what you are asking.  Further, there is no indication of turns ratio of the transformer.

That transformer would definitely NOT be 'CENTER' tapped. The base drive portion would consist of just a few turns perhaps 10 to 15 and the portion above it generating the high negative voltage may have hundreds of turns. Who made the transformer? What is the turns ratio of all three sections?

FWIW, one of The Signal Path's first videos covered the flash circuit of a disposable camera.  At the very least he provides some good information.
