Oscilloscope Full Width at half maximum measurement?

(1/1)

masterpj55:
Hey Guys.

I'm trying to measure the " full width at half maximum"  on my rigol oscilloscope (Rigol DS1054Z) but really cannot figure out how this would be done.
I want to know the pulse width between 2 points where the value is half of the maximum value of a pulse.

ebastler:
Using the softkeys on the left side of the screen, select "+Width" from the Horizontal measurements. That will measure the width of a pulse at the "middle" threshold value.

The "middle" threshold values defaults to 50%, i.e. half maximum, which is what you want. But it can be changed via
Measure > Setting > Type > Threshold.

This is described on page 6-26 in my version of the manual. (Figure 6-3 and the text below.)

Thank you so much! So i was doing it right! Apreciate it!
Rigol on the phone wasn't sure but im glad this is confirmed now :)
