| Function of a little dot on bobbin of a flyback transformer |

Hello guys i want to know function of this dot on bobbin of a flyback transformer.I guess it is for dot convention of transformer when i remove first layer of sticky tape i have found it was wound in clockwise direction. |

It wouldn't need a peg like that just to visually *identify* pin 1, so it must be intended to operate a sensor or engage with a hole in a jig for (semi) automated assembly to ensure the bobbin orientation is correct with respect to the coil winding machine, or for part orientation during (semi) automated board stuffing. |
