Sadly I bought without free options. Could hack all options for free, but nicer to be legitimate.

Assumes hobby use. Not a professional tool IMHO.

You can't go wrong with the Rigol DS1054z and at the moment batterfly has the lowest price with free options in EU, AFAIK. Bought mine from batterfly few years ago 

I don't agree on the non professional use. If you stay within the bandwidth limit it is a perfectly capable tool.
I use it at work every day without any issue.

I am only "worried" about it being obsolete. As Batterfly has reduced the price twice just recently I am wondering if something new is one the way with better performance but at the same price. That would annoy me somewhat,
Having said that the reviews are generally very good and more than adequate for my os why not ?
Am I right ?

I can't call it obsolete and I think it is a really good tool for the price, but you could be right an rigol, siglent an some other player can release a new competitor scope in the near future.

Just  be aware Batterfly tends to advertise prices without VAT. That puts the prices on par with other sellers. Buying locally can often be more interesting due to warranty being less of a hassle.
