Green thing that came with my T12 Clone?

^product in question, all the documentation should be here cos there isn't any in the box

Obviously I'm referring to the "Dongrong SW-200D". I'm an absolute novice who bought this as my first station to put together keyboards. According to Google this is some sort of tilt-switch, maybe I have to install this somehow to get access to the station's sleep function? This is all I found about the sleep/wake on the product page:

About the wake of the handle
Please carefully understand the working principle of the vibration switch in the handle. The ball trigger switch built in the handle, the mounting direction of the ball switch and the rolling direction of the ball inside the ball switch need to vibrate the handle when the direction of the handle is consistent. For example, when the handle is vertical Please move the handle up and down. When swinging the handle up and down, please make sure that the ball inside the handle can trigger the SW wake-up mode, and the force needs to be slightly larger. When the handle is placed horizontally, please swing the handle left and right. Please swing the handle to an angle greater than 30 degrees, so that the ball inside the handle can trigger the SW wake-up mode.

I'm guessing if you have an iron holder that green thing can be used somehow to detect when the irons in the holder and put it too sleep.

No iron holder required . It just detects movement of the handle  . When you park the handle for a period of time the soldering unit counts down with an internal timer and shuts the heat off. When you pick the handle up again the unit will heat up again to the preset temperature.

I remember reading that the ‘shake to wake’ had issues on some irons. The tilt switch is the shake to wake sensor so either it is for retro fitting into a handle not equipped with such, or it is a ‘known good’ replacement for a failing or unreliable tilt switch originally fitted in the irons handle. It could be just a spare for a known weakness in the design ? The seller may be trying to avoid returns due to failed shake to wake sensors in hand pieces by supplying the required part at time of sale.
