Grounding of Pace Intelliheat Stations

Hello,

Has anyone changed his Intelliheat Station to a soft grounded System ?
( Ground to tip ~20kΩ - 1MΩ  instead of its original <2Ω  ,  that ESD can’t discharge too fast).

Or controlled if it’s possible to do it ?
