Hi all!
This is my first question here and my English is not the best.
I'm a very beginner. Than means, I know almost nothing in electronic. I recently got an oscilloscope, two multi-meters, a signal generator, a power supply and I'm waiting for components like resistors, capacitors, diodes, diode lights, etc.. My goal is to be able to repair and modifying all kinds of devices and, I hope, eventually creating things.
I wonder what components tester to buy? I'd like to have the most complete and precise one. I prefer to pay a little more than to have to buy several cheap units.
I have spent quit a long time on Youtube but I'm still lost.
I have an eye on the LCR TC1 and on LCR 7H.
I tried to compare the specifications but I'm confuse.
The LCR 7H is more expensive but I'm not sure if that means it is the newer version of this device and if it is the best choice between those two.
For instance:
The TC1 does this: Zener Diode:Transistor Detect Area: 0.01-4.5V ; Zener Diode Detect Area: 0.01-30V
and the 7H does this: Automatic detection of zener diode(0.01-20V
