H bridge using motherboard CPU power supply parts.
« on: March 25, 2013, 07:41:19 pm »
I have lots of old motherboards and i was thinking of using power mosfets and power mosfet drivers from CPU power supply as parts of H-bridge.
I'm mostly concerned for driver chip - normally this chip works around 1MHz and my H-bridges would be used on model railway DCC boosters that work around 10kHz.

Chips i have are:
HIP66-01ACB
ISL6609
SC1211S
those would be ok voltagewise for DCC
ADP3418, ADP3110, ADP3418K
those go only up to 13V but i if they can control mosfets on DC they will be usefull too
