HELP! I ruined my nintendo switch lcd connector

If you can find a source for the connector, anyone with a hot air station and a little experience should be able to replace it easily. I don't recognize it offhand but I would guess it's something standard.

If I had to take a guess that connector has pins on both sides.

It will be more evident when you look at it with a magnifying glass.

The flex connector, at least only has 1 side with pins. That side has "2 pins per 1" one in front and one behind

Yes, I can see that in the first video around 1:13, is not the same connector but the flex cable seems the same style.

Here is the connector https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/LCD-Screen-Socket-Connector-for-Nintendo-Switch-/292840655347

xyrtek:
She'll be alright, any ok cellphone repair shop can swap that connector out.
