I have a Weller 8200-N 100W/140W soldering iron that I bought in 1962 that I use for these cases. Once the connector is off the board, I use the iron and solder wick to remove all excess solder from the holes. The key to the wick working is to cover it with solder flux. It usually takes about 8-10 seconds to clear each hole. You will easily see when the wick starts to absorb the copper.

It seems to me that Saike 952D is not powerful enough plus tip is not best for this purpose.
Something like T12 usually works better. I use my T12 station with different PC motherboards and it works MUCH better then "usual" cheap Lukey 702 etc.

Depending on the board geometry, I have had success using a solder pot. The solder pot’s thermal mass is enormous, it is quick and the connector just pulls off with a pair of pliers.
Of course it depends on surrounding components and how careful you are.

Back in the though hole era every hardcore module repair center had an adjustable solder wave size chip replacement device.

As it seen from photo of tips, Saike 952D is not good for soldering large planes.
T12-type solder stations do much better with this.
