Hello!
New here....that said....
Can anyone help Identify this component?
It's out of a Philips FR968/17 home theater system, this is on the main board - part number 3927.
I thought it was a resistor, but i am unable to find any similar to this one.
(yes there are 2 that are "smoked" - I will be replacing all 4...I hope!)
As this is a very basic, very simple through hole design one sided - figured it would be simple to fix...
Well, the replacement is very easy - I just need a part - LOL. Or a compatible replacement.
Thanks in advance!

What makes you think it isn't a resistor? Did you measure the other ones that aren't burned with an ohmmeter?
Edit: Looks like a 4 band color code -
22 * 0.01 = 0.22 ohms(5% tolerance)
-
only reason i im not sure is I cannot find any matching this.
looks to be .77ohms.
Bands are violet, violet, silver, gold.
testing those next to it now...

I see red, red, silver, gold. 0R22 5%, looks like 1W, possibly fusible.

Yea OK the colors didn't come out here very well. :)

There are pink resistors, but those color code bands are weird. The fact that there are four of them and mounted way above the board surface makes me want to guess that they could be diodes being used as a rectifier.

Nope.
Resistors.
0R22.
Haven't you guys ever seen a hard-to-read resistor before? Must be just me who gets the crappy ones all the time...

So, you see my issue.
I looked up .22 ohm ones - none look like these - but I can find the values.
looked up .77 - Nothing.
As to being something else - LOL thats what Im asking. :-//

You may be right - found this -

I will have to go more on the 0R22 hunt....
Thank you ! :-+

Well there you go. :)
