Help identifying a server fan connector
« on: February 24, 2020, 07:57:01 am »
I need to get a few connectors like this one:
937394-0
937398-1
937402-2

Done some searching on Digikey but I just can't find anything that seems to match. The female sockets in the connector are too big to fit in ordinary dupont sockets. Anyone have suggestions for what I should be looking for?

You might get a better response if you (carefully and precisely) measure all the important dimensions, especially the pin pitch.

What is the thickness of the mating pins? The pin pitch? Model of server it came from?

*duh*  |O |O

This is what happens when you get interrupted while posting and then just click the post button.

Connector is for the fan module of an HP Cluster Platform 3000 chassis. Pitch is 2.54 mm. I measure the sockets to be 1.63x2.06x8.72mm (height of 2.06mm measured at the tip of the socket). The holes on the back of the connector measure 1.75x1.75mm.

The connector is 21x3.46x9.1mm excluding the back flange. The flange measures 27.28x7.9x1.77mm. I'll try to get a drawing together later today.
