In the market for a Digital Scope and I would appreciate you input. Will be using for Audio Equipment Modding, Repair Work and Analog Synth Repair, Building and power supply Mods and some Prototyping work. Here we go. Hantek DSO4202C Pros *Cheapest of the bunch. *200Mhz out of the box. *Inbuilt Signal Function Generator. Cons *Only 2 Channels, but that may be enough for my needs. I don’t know yet I may need 4 channels later. *Hantek doesn’t have the most stellar reputation around here. Have they sorted out out the bugs yet? *Limited Memory Depth compared to others. Does that matter to me? I am not sure? Siglent SDS1204X-E Pros *200Mhz Out of the box *4 Channels *Option for logic analyser. *Really Nice looking screen. *Good amount of Memory Depth. Cons *More Expensive. *No inbuilt Function Generator. *At this price point I might as well start looking a the Rigol MSO-5074. Rigol MSO-5074 Pros *Everything and the Kitchen Current Sink. ;) Cons *Still pretty new on the market not as stable as the others. *Only good value for money if you hack the firmware. Will I void my warranty? |

Have a look at SDS2202X-E. |

Multiple posting is considered bad form. See your other thread for my points. |

I thought the extra thread would make things less complex these are to seperate questions. The first one is about bandwidth needed to measure opamp oscillation with no particular oscilloscope in mind where this one is about making a choice between a few different makes and models at least that’s what intended. My apologies if I have done something wrong. I still haven’t got a clear answer to my original question. |

I realise you started this separate thread in order to add a poll, but see my comment below. You won't get a clear answer: * there is no clear answer; personal preference and other factors are important * in my opinion, you have a bad starting point and so the answers are likely to be "wrong" Hence my opinion is that a simple poll is not the best route for you. |
