Here is a link to the simulation.

https://www.falstad.com/circuit/circuitjs.html?ctz=CQAgjCAMB0l3BWcMBMcUHYMGZIA4UA2ATmIxAUgoqoQFMBaMMAKADcQ09OAWKlPryrCQgpCJgIWAJyFzMKOVVYAVThkUCq2BJsFUe4UdFLFdkBHiwkUYMyAY8TBFMTS6eO4mHIxTLAHd1TQ1OfGCoQLDuBWilKJ09bV0IyBYgA

This cant be correct!!   whats the meaning of this?

<edit>
Im getting current on the secondary of the transformer on my computer -  is this happening on yours too - or is it just a glitch on my computer?

Here is an explanation https://www.falstad.com/circuit/e-transformerdc.html

Increase simulation speed to see it die down faster.

Or decrease the inductance. 4 H is a lot.

Well if you have zero wire and load resistance that kind of thing do happen...

It will still be the same with a real load. 4H coil inductance, the initial transient response takes a long time to settle.
