Help understanding this EMC circuit

Can someone help me understand the recommended EMC circuit in this datasheet:

Its at the bottom of page 4, I don't recognize the big 'Z' symbol. Also attached. Thank you for any help!

That "Z" just indicates that the two inductors share a common core -- otherwise called a "common mode choke". It's another way of drawing a transformer, when the windings are far apart on the schematic.
