| Raj:
I've been wanting to make a tweezers sized instrument, that generates square wave with zero offset and 30v peak to peak.and the output has limited current. I am currently using the only method I know, which is using an 'H' bridge a boost converter to get 15v along with attiny13 micro controller and a linear regulator to limit current. But it's too big. Suggest something please. :-[ |

Can you post a picture of what you already have? Is it already constructed using surface mount components on a PCB? |

The linear regulator limits current to 10-20mA according to setting (potentiometer). H-bridge is basically 4 large mosfets. The circuit fits in a box of size 5x5x2cm. I want to make it as small as 4x2x0.5cm or smaller. I think, I can employ analogue circuitry to achieve it. I can use single nand chip to act as both sq wave generator and 'h' bridge but how will I limit output current? 2 Mosfet based current limiter I guess? |
