Techtronix 5110

I have a Techtronix Oscilloscope Model 5110 The display is restricted to the top right hand quarter of the screen and cannot be moved by the position controls to any other area of screen. When try to move display to bottom of screen trace stays at center and magnitude of waveform decreases. Any help or advice as where to look for problem would be most helpful.

You'll never pass a spelling test!  Tektronix, not Techtronix!

Anyway, the first thing to do is to get a copy of the service manual (try Artekmedia if you can't find a free copy) and to read it you may find that will give you the answer!

It never hurts when dealing with these old 'scopes, to check that all the power supplies are correct (voltage and ripple).

Other than that, you're likely to get the most help from either the Tekscopes or Tekscopes2 (a schism from Tekscopes) mailing list, both at groups.io.
