Hi, please i wish to know if this logic equation was solved correctly and please can any one recommend a book that deals with this kind of logic systems ? |

Your approach looks OK, the truth table approach works for a limited number of variables, above 4 it starts getting tedious. Not to mention when you start adding storage or sequential logic. My reference book is William I. Fletcher, "An Engineering Approach to Digital Design" |

I didn't resolve the system but it looks ok to me. Aren't you supposed to write the output equation? Almost any logic design book will deal with this kind of thing in the early chapters. The next step is Karnaugh Maps and that will just about end the discussion of static logic. Following that will be sequential logic and this is where all the real work is done. Then it's on to CPLDs and FPGAs; nobody is using discrete logic for anything of any size. |

Any book on boolean algebra will do |
