Hi, please  what are some work safe relevant health and safety legislation that maybe applicable when performing domestic electrical rewiring ?
Benta:
I'm not sure you'll find anyone here that know the safety codes for Cameroon. But good luck.
nyame:
HI, thanks for the reply, please the questions is focused on OSHA or HSE legislations.
rstofer:
Electrically, the National Electric Code plus local modifications.  Expect large cities like Los Angeles, Chicago and others to supplement the requirements with far more stringent standards.

Safety wise, OSHA is one source but many states have their own codes that are more restrictive than the national codes.

Electrically, OSHA standards and state standards refer back to the National Electric Code referred to as NFPA 70.

A very brief snapshot of OSHA requirements:

Here is another:

Here is one for Cal/OSHA - California's version:

This stuff is all over Google but just pulling down documents isn't terribly useful.  People spend their entire career dealing with this stuff and it still fails from time to time.

Jwillis:
Cameroon falls under the French IEC (International Electrical Code). Start your search there.
