852Dplus Nozzles
« on: June 01, 2021, 02:55:33 am »
Has anyone purchased nozzles for the 852Dplus hot air pencil?

I'm looking to replace an Agilent hybrid chip (see attached) and looking to get a square nozzle, however, the few I've found are expensive.

Does anyone know a good place to get these?

Any specific need for a square nozzle? I would expect just a large circular one to be good enough for the job.

I assumed a square one would apply heat evenly.

You're correct, a large round one would work too, but I'm uncertain if you mean to use the smaller circular that came with it or buy a large one that would fit around the square IC.

If you mean buy a large circular to fit around the square IC, then I'd imagine buying a square would be ideal.
