How do I read limit switch stroke length?

How do I interpret stroke length on this datasheet, is it 0.3mm±0.1 until the switch begins conducting, or is it that distance that the switch physically bottoms out?

I intend to place a limit switch at the edge of a PCB. I don't want to stress the switch solder joints so the object needs to hit the edge of the PCB before the switch bottoms out, but not before pressing the switch through its intended length of travel and it begins conducting. If the stroke length on the datasheet measures the distance it must travel before conducting, but it bottoms out much deeper (let's assume at 1mm), I want to position the tip so it is 0.45mm beyond the edge of the PCB, so that definitely conducts. But if the stroke length is the distance to bottom out, placing it at 0.45mm would stress the solder joints; I should instead position the tip so it is 0.15mm beyond the edge.

Which do you think it is?

It said contact stroke so it has to move 0.3mm to switch. I am sure it can move significantly more before bottom out.

I agree with BeBuLamar that 0.3mm is the actuation point.

I would suggest, however, choosing a name-brand part that has a proper datasheet. You obviously want a fully-specified part where you know not only the actuation point, but also the full stroke depth.
