How do you search Digikey etc for DC leakage current sensors?
« on: September 26, 2022, 10:03:36 pm »
Hi,
The FG-R05-3A is a current sensor which detects between -50mA and +50mA of DC leakage  current in the mains supply (eg to an EV chargepoint).

How do you actually find other similar things on mouser or digikey etc?

....neither have any way for you to depict these types of (DC leakage) current sensors.....they just come under "Board level current sensors"
'Perfection' is the enemy of 'perfectly satisfactory'

Try residual or leakage current sensor. LEM has quite a few models.

Sometimes it's easier to search on the manufacturer website for such things, then check the price and availability on octoparts.
