Title: How is this possible? No continuity on one side of header pin!@!

I'm working on building a custom multirotor drone and I have a ground pin on my flight controller board that has continuity with ground on all sides of a header pin except one side. If I touch to probe to any part of this side I get absolutely no continuity but if I move it to any other side or even the tip of the header pin, I get continuity again!

How is this possible? and does it really matter? The pin connects with a female header/dupont connector. I'm sure that three sides are enough to make a proper connection to ground?

I  think you should post a picture of the header for us, to be able to help you.

A layer of corrosion, glue or even solder flux may be interfering with your probe's ability to make an electrical connection on one side of the pin. Try scraping the pin with a hobby knife, or sandpaper, and try the continuity test again.
