How long does it actually take to ship to USA if purchasing from EEV Store?

Once I decide between the BM2257 and BM786, I then need to buy them. The lower price on the EEVBlog store is truly appealing but I've read in some places the wait could be 8.5 weeks or longer.

Has anyone ordered recently from the store in the USA? And if so, how long did it take? Is there any way to possibly even pay for air shipping? I assume it's by sea since the one guy said 8.5weeks.

Also, any tips regarding 2257 vs 786 are very welcome as I don't see any comparisons anywhere since the 2257 is so new. I do like the orange backlight on the new one. Also, what is the serial connection used for, I assume the 786 does not have this.


I am trying to decide between the BM2257 and the BM789. I would like this to be my everything meter, but it's probably too expensive for that.

What about the pricing? Do both multimeters fall within your budget?

It wasn't recently, but when I ordered my BM786 it took less than 2 weeks to make it to Canada.  Has something gone awfully wrong in the last 3 years?
