I know that they are claimed to only hold 250volts anode voltage. but I've seen more than that in a LOT of amps.
usually about 265v
so I wanted to have 360v on the plate but I am sure it will arc over in the tube.
so what would be the max voltage it can take really and what will be the consequences of using such high voltage?
also, I know that new 6P14P tubes can usually hold a lot more voltage since they're better quality.
so what can a new 6P14P tube hold?
also, 6P1P tubes are basically 6P14P 2.0 so can they hold more voltage? they are claimed to only hold 250v same as the 6P14P's but they are better in most other ways so it might be just underrated?
oh and 6P14P tubes are a Russian copy of EL84's with a 6V heater, and the 6P1P's are Russian copies of EL90 tubes.
