Siglient SDS-1202X-E Saving Data
« on: August 21, 2023, 10:27:13 pm »
Hi everyone!
I am new to o scopes, I just picked up a 1202x-e.
I am having a hard time figuring out how to properly save data as csv.
I have figured out how to save it but for some reason it seems to be saving only live data, or parial data.

Im thinking either my sampling rate is so high I am unable to view all points in excel/matlab.
Or its just saving my starting voltage for a few seconds.
I am attempting to save a signal from a slotted optical sensor.
I can see the signal on the scope but when I save the file as .csv   all I get is the starting voltahe for 2600 data points.

Is there a way to drop the sampling rate or figure out what the heck is going on?

Thanks for any help!

Welcome to the forum.

Reducing the memory depth will reduce the size of large CSV files.
I also recommend you check the firmware version installed as the latest is 1.3.27 and you can download it here:
