| How to find mains push switch to use with a rod? |
| (1/1) |

Hello again :). TL;DR: I need a mains switch that would easy accept a push-rod button from front panel. A lot of professional equipment doesn't have a switch on the front panel, but rather have switch somewhere on the back that is activated by a push rod. Like here on the top (with a bit of green paint): https://xdevs.com/doc/Keithley/2400/photo/xDevs.com/_TIM5466.jpg . It's such a common thing, but I have troubles finding it. My main supplier (tme.eu) seems doesn't have anything remote that would be able to switch 250V, 120VA toroid transformer :(. I think I'm looking for something like this: https://www.ebay.com/itm/Fender-Push-button-switch-complete-kit-1-for-Elite-Bullet-Jeff-Beck-Strat-/263933639990 , but speced for 250V. Do you guys have a suggestion what I could use? In the worst case the switch may not be rated for large current, I'll just use a relay. |
