Title: How to find peak current of induction motor without datasheet
Post by: Dmeads on November 13, 2019, 12:53:53 am
Hello. I have a small induction motor, and I need to find the peak startup current but I dont have the datasheet for the motor.

It is a mains voltage single phase motor with a total resistance of 151 ohms and 43mF of inductance measured.

Like I said in your other post, lock the rotor and quickly measure it. https://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/does-this-motor-have-a-datasheet/ (https://www.eevblog.com/forum/projects/does-this-motor-have-a-datasheet/)
